  1. Good column. Montoya is eminently fair. It sounds as though he’s tired of being damned for thinking critically.

    Interesting remarks about Hopkins, too, particularly the insinuation that popular appetites for the ‘ageless wonder’ shtick has isolated him from testing pressure.

    • I do hope we see BHop retire before he gets knocked out. He is already clearly the best fighter ever of his age, much better than Foreman who was reliant only on his power in his mid 40s

      That said, Foreman was robbed in the Briggs fight where he finally lost his lineal title at almost 49 years of age
