  1. I watched Mayweather-Marquez again seeking hints as to how the mega-fight might turn out. i’d (conveniently, given my criticism of Floyd) put that one out of memory; a most impressive victory in which he often turned up the heat on quality opponent.

    Not sure it yielded any answers! For one thing, I don’t know if he can keep distance the way he used to do. For another, I think Manny might have some success with overhand punches the way Maidana at times did.

    Leaning toward Mayweather, though, and tempted to bet on the fight more than I am to watch it, haha. Las Vegas had it Mayweather -210 last I looked and I gather that’s about the best odds on him ever. I’m not a gambler but I figure he owes me. 😉

    • Certainly one of Mayweather’s masterpieces, underrated at the time due to JMM’s zero accomplishment at welter.

      Haha, I advise you to wait until right before the fight, because I expect odds to tighten further as more money comes in on Pacquiao.
