    If the NY commission needs a spare hand to help in its buffoonery, they might turn to Tony Weeks. His shameful job in the Kov-Ward rematch tonight must qualify him for some kind of premier clown slot in boxing’s sleaze machine.

    I thought Ward was doing well, better in fact than in the first match. He might have been set to pull ahead definitively. Still, I had it even prior to the barrage of low blows. The freak stoppage, with Ward’s glove all but buried in Kov’s groin, defies explanation. Disgusted.
